The Wabash Church of the Brethren is affiliated with many programs, both in Wabash County and the surrounding counties as well as nationally through the Congregation at Large.

Please click on each link below to learn more information about the program, and how we as a congregation support them.

Growing Grounds

Wabash Church of the Brethren has partnered with Education for Conflict Resolution to form Growing Grounds, a new initiative that with the support and cooperation of the County Sheriff, Jail Staff and other community agencies, will offer resources and skills for the successful transition from incarceration into positive participation in the community life of Wabash.

Narcotics Anonymous

NA is dedicated to help addicts on their recovery journey.  In an effort to support that, we host a weekly support meeting, on Tuesday evenings.  Please contact the office at 260-563-5291 or for additional details.

Al-Alon is dedicated to support the family members of addicts.  Our newest offering to weekly support meetings, also on Tuesdays. Please contact the office at 260-563-5291 or for additional details.

The Access Youth Center

The Access is a community youth center providing after school and weekend activities for all youth ages 8-18. Our goal is to provide a calm, consistent presence in the lives of local youth; serving as a reminder of God's love for each of us. Each program we offer is free of charge due to the generous giving of various members of our community.

Church World Service
CWS has worked for seven decades with one goal: building a world where there is enough for all. We affirm the power of individuals and communities to take ownership of their future. We meet them right where they are, helping them create solutions they can maintain – and build on. That means a refugee family who is able to start a new life. Or someone rebuilding after disaster finds safety with dignity.

We are currently collecting items to package up Hygiene Kits to send to those communities affected by hurricanes, floods, wildfires and violence.  If you would like to help us in some way, please feel free to either send a monetary donation to the church, or leave supplies by the covered entrance.

This is the list of items supplied by CWS:

  • One hand towel measuring approximately 15”x 28” to 16”x 32” (no fingertip, bath, dish towel or micro-fiber)
  • One washcloth
  • One wide-tooth comb removed from the package
  • One finger nail or toe nail clipper removed from the package
  • One bath size bar of soap in the wrapper
  • One toothbrush in the package
  • Ten standard size Band-aids

All items need to fit inside a one-gallon plastic zipper closure bag. Remove the excess air from the bag and seal before boxing. Do not add any extra items or toothpaste. A tube of extended expiration date toothpaste will be added to each Hygiene Kit just prior to its journey.
Value: $15
Processing fee: $2 per Kit
*Do not enclose money inside the kits or in the shipping boxes.
