Wabash Church of the Brethren
Wabash Church of the Brethren strives to provide spiritual sanctuary for everyone regardless of gender, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, political views, family status, abilities, race or socio-economic status. All are welcome within the gathering and membership of the congregation and encouraged to share in its worship and community life.
We offer everyone, without exception, the opportunity to share twice a year with us in Love Feast (a worship service combining feet-washing, a simple shared meal and Communion) as we embody Christ’s call to serve in love, live in unity, and receive God’s grace. People who do not wish to participate fully in all aspects of the Love Feast are welcome to the table for the blessing of being in Christian community.
As a congregation we are called to embody the healing presence of Christ. Therefore, we strive to continue the work of Jesus peacefully, simply, together, as we compassionately extend to all the love, respect, and blessings of the church..
Ask a greeter or an usher for use of hearing assist headphone or the elevator. During worship we offer nursery care for children ages 0 thru 4 and Children’s Church for grades K thru 5 located just down the hall from the sanctuary. Sunday school classes are offered preceding worship and are available for all ages. For your comfort, restrooms are at the top and bottom of the stairs across from the front entrance. A water fountain is located downstairs next to the fellowship hall doors.

Continuing the work of Jesus. Peacefully. Simply. Together.
We are a Christian congregation that values the learning and spiritual growth that comes from prayer, study, dialogue, and questions about scripture. Together we focus on learning to live according to the teachings of Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life. As a community we are on a shared journey of faith, while as individuals we may be at different places along the path. Recognizing and honoring the reality of such differences, we invite all those who seek to know Jesus, and who choose to embrace the diversity within this community of believers, to journey with us.
